Dr. Ryan Berryhill

Ryan is the senior pastor of First Southern.  He came to the church from Texas in June 2001.  He earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2000, and a Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, in 2011.  Ryan and wife Kelly have two boys, Isaac and Luke.

Kim Burke

Kim has been worship leader at First Southern for almost thirty years.  He is also owner of Burke Spring and Alignment in Terre Haute.  Kim and wife Terri have two children, Lindsay and Kyle, both of whom are married, and two grandchildren.

Shelley Burchyett

Our children's pastor is Shelley Burchyett.  Shelley came on staff in September 2007.  She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1996 with a degree in Social Work and has had extensive experience working with children and in children's ministry in Tennessee and Texas.  Shelley and husband Greg have two children, Zach and Stephen.

Wanda Bell

Wanda serves as Kids Hope USA Director at First Southern, leading the mentoring program committed to Fuqua Elementary School in Terre Haute.  Wanda graduated from Indiana State University with an accounting degree.  She and husband Kevin have two girls, Martha and Daisy.
